If you have read my blog at all, you know that I only eat “Undenatured” Whey Protein Powder that has been solely sourced from New Zealand Free Range Dairy Cattle.  These cattle are homone and anti-biotic free.

You might want to re-read that first paragraph.  It almost sounds “too good to be true”.  But, if it is, those folks at Isagenix are in for one heck of a lawsuit because they have plastered that claim on every bit of marketing that they have posted on every can of their product and all over their website.  My personal opinion is that the claim is as true as anything is in this world today.  The exposure would be too great to make such an outrageous statement if, indeed, it was not true.  And, if that is the case, the protein powder that is going into my body two to three times per day is the safest form of protein that one’s body can ingest.  (Maybe that is why I feel so darn good!)

Why UnDenatured?  I would suggest that you google the phrase UnDenatured Whey Protein and read about it.  It is the least processed form of Whey Protein that can be made.  And, it is the most expensive manner in which to produce Whey Protein.  The end result is a much better source of nutrients for your body than the other forms of Protein Powder that you can purchase on the market today.

Why am I so nutty about making sure that my body is only ingesting meat and/or protein sources from free range animals that have not been given all the growth hormone and other meds that are being pumped into our meat supply today?  Simple.  The idea of eating meat from an animal that was caged in an area so small that, in many cases, they couldn’t do much more than (maybe) turn around simply doesn’t appeal to me.  Does it appeal to you?  Did you know that our chickens are being raised in a cage that is 12 inches by 12 inches.  Yes.  You are probably figuring out the problem with that.  Very simply, once they are adults, they cannot even turn around in that size space.  Our pigs and cattle are being raised under similar circumstances…..And, in my humble opinion, the meat that is derived from these animals may not be the most healthy meat for your body to ingest.  (It certainly isn’t going in this body anymore…..except when I am eating in a restaurant.  And, I don’t do much of that any more for the above-mentioned reason.)  If the idea of feedlot animals doesn’t cause you any angst, I would also suggest that eating meat and/or protein that is chock full of growth hormone and other meds may also not be the healthiest way to feed your own healthy body….and/or the bodies of your loved ones!

So, David’s protein powder of choice is Isagenix.  And, the reason for that…….given the above-mentioned set of facts…….was very simple.  It was an economical one.  I googled Denatured Whey Protein Hormone Free Anti-Biotic Free.  And, there were two other options other than Isagenix.  Both were almost exactly twice as much for the same protein serving.  (That was a surprise to me.  I was actually trying to figure out an easier way for readers of my Blog to get protein than having to sign up with Isagenix.  I did find an easier way.  But, since it involved doubling their monthly output for protein powder, I decided that anyone interested could call me and get “set up” with these folks and order their own…..online…….like we do.)
