Well, if you are a friend of mine, you may know that I can tend a bit towards the eccentric. And, this post is probably partial proof and/or admission of that very fact.
Today, something that makes me very happy arrived in the mail. My custom ordered rubber sports bracelet. (I don’t know what else to call it. But, they are those bracelet things like the ones that Lance Armstrong made for cancer awareness…….(remember, he is the man responsible for the LiveStrong Cancer Foundation that raises gazillions of dollars for cancer treatment and/or cures every year)…..they are the yellow ones that you and nearly everyone else in this country has worn on their wrist at least once in their lifetime.)
Anyhow, about a month ago, I thought “Hey. I want one of those that is specific to me. Yeah. There must be a way to make that happen.” And, I’ll be darned if I was not correct. Google it if you doubt me. You can have your own bracelet made up for your business or sport team or whatever………or, if you are a tad “eccentric”, you can just have one made up for yourself. And, that is what I decided to do.
I had 5 of these guys created……I assume they will wear out over time. So, I thought I might as well be safe. Plus, 5 didn’t cost must more than 1…….I guess that is what keeps people from just buying them for themself. (They really start to make a lot more sense financially when you are buying them in the 100’s for something such as a cause or promotion of your business.)
